To ensure that you purchase the best embossing seal to fit your needs, PLEASE take a moment to read the important information below and select your embossing seal according to these guidelines. This will eliminate stress and aggravation, strain on yourself/the machine, and will save you TIME/MONEY!

    

Please select the category which best describes your usage of an embossing seal:


1.) Low Volume Standard Duty User : 1 sheet of 20-24 lb. paper at a time. Less than 1,000 impressions per year, you need:
     a. Hand-held
     or,
     b. Standard Desk Seal
Disclaimer: These seals are made to emboss 1 of 20-24 lb. sheet of paper at a time. If you emboss more than one sheet of paper at a time or apply excessive pressure, you may damage the seal and void the warranty.


2.) Moderate Duty User: 1 sheet of 20-24 lb. paper or gold foil.  More than 1,000, but less than 2,000 impressions per year, you need:
      a. Long Reach Desk Seal
      or,
      b. Heavy Duty Long Reach Manual Seal
      or,
      c. Cast Iron Desk Seal
      or,
      d. Motorized Seal
Disclaimer: These seals are made to emboss 1 of 20-24 lb. sheet of paper or gold foil at a time. If you emboss more than one sheet of paper at a time or apply excessive pressure, you may damage the seal and void the warranty.
Disclaimer:  These seals are made to emboss 1 sheet of paper at a time. If you emboss more than one sheet, you may bend the metal clip insert or make the die shift. This will result in the dies not meeting properly and it will not emboss properly. This is NOT a problem of the manufacturer. We do not guarantee seals if used improperly.



3.) Heavy Duty, High-Volume User= 1-2 sheets of 20-24 lb. paper or heavy-weight paper.  Embossing more than 2,000 impressions per year, you need:
      a. Cast Iron Desk Seal with Brass die & alloy counter
      or,
      b. Electric Seal for heavy duty, high volume uses


4.) Extra Heavy Duty or High-Volume User= 3 or more sheets of 20-24 lb. paper* or heavy-weight paper (paper samples to be embossed may be required), you need:
     a.
Cast Iron Desk Seal (There is a $49.00 charge for a specific die for cast iron, high Volume seal.  If you emboss 3 or more sheets of paper at a time,
the die must be engraved differently).
         Cast iron seals, with this alloy counter, have a TWO YEAR WARRANTY, excluding disassembly, abuse, alteration or work performed by anyone other than manufacturer.  
    or,
    b.
Electric Seal for Heavy Duty, High-volume uses.



* There is a possibility that multiple-page embossings may reduce clarity of the impression on subsequent pages.  Multiple embossings may require extra pressure or 2-3 cycles using the electric embossers.
